Vizcaya Museum and Gardens Miami, FL
Throughout 2010 RLA has been working extensively at Vizcaya. We began in March with a survey of all architectural features, including fountains, interior surfaces, and garden walls. Throughout the summer and fall we worked with Trigram GC, Inc. as conservators for cast stone and marble floors, fireplaces and staircases as part of the Phase I restoration project. In September we began our work as the conservation coordinators for Vizcaya's IMLS survey of interior collections. We expect work at Vizcaya to continue throughout 2011.
